TRADITIONAL CRETE

Our day of excursion starts with the Handicraft Park which has been operating since 2005 where 22 craftsmen have been there in order to create ceramics, metal statuettes, hagiographies, traditional barrels, etc. It is located in the area of Anopolis, above Kokkini Chani in the Municipality of Chersonissos.
Then, we”ll visit the Agarathos Monastery which is located 23 km. south of Heraklion. It is considered to be one of the oldest in Crete.
The winery , which is our next stop, is a space dedicated to hospitality and winemaking. Here visitors can experience a special wine tour, get to know the labels of our winery and learn about the history of wine, while enjoying a tour of our state-of-the-art facilities, equipped with the latest technology and our own vineyards.
We will close our day by visiting the rakokazano, which is located in a small traditional graphic village in the middle of Crete. You will have the opportunity to get to know all the traditional Cretan culture that follows us till this day and to get to know the best way of the RAKI distillation process.

On each and every stop of our excursion,  traditional cretan gifts are given to all.
